I'm a mum, designer and maker.

I'm a textile engineer by trade but never really enjoyed the anonymous offshore mass production aspect of this industry.
I'm german by birth and followed my heart to my new home Melbourne 4 years ago.
I create things because I have to. I need to be around a sewing machine otherwise I feel like I'm missing an arm.
Sewing is my passion and often my obsession!

When I'm not sewing I like riding my bike, browsing old craft books, opp-shopping, wearing stripes and most things japanese.
But most of all just spending some time with my little one and our naughty dog.
